Chair: Yesica, Peter and Kristine :]

Although I must admit that making a chair out of cardboard without glue was a bit frustrating specially when it came to trying to figure out the structure, our final group project was so much fun! :D We almost used the whole 4'x8' piece of cardboard and only had a few scraps that we used for our cup holder. :P

First we started with this sketch model that we took from a little sketch that I had made:

When we finished putting it together, we realized that we had used almost all of our cardboard and didn't have enough to create a support for the back. Epic fail! :D However, we learned from our mistakes and then Chrissy came up with another alternative for the base that would include a back support as well. Here is our second sketch model:

The second sketch looked like it had a lot more support, however, when we sat on it, the structure of the seat started to fall apart and couldn't support a person for a long time, nevertheless give them time to sit back and lay down their backs. So we needed to figure out a way for more support in the butt area and after a lot of thought decided to create some sort of triangle inside our triangle chair. It looked like this:

When we finally finished putting it together, we were soooo happy it worked! :D To celebrate we painted our chair silver because it looked like a lounge chair from the future and everything in the future is made of chrome! xD So our final chair came out looking like this:

Final schematics of our chair redrawn by Peter on Illustrator :D

People having fun in our chair! Yay! :]

The End. :D
