i feel the razor is comfortable to hold and use it gives ur hand comfort because of the curve and grooves but with the flat iron ita jua straight and doesnt have comfort fro the hand to be held also it has no prtection from heat burning your hand while doin hair

Ergonomics

Well this is one of my favorite body washes that I use everyday. However I can not stand the way the bottle is made. It is super wide at the mid section, which is very uncomfortable to hold. Many times this has slipped from my grip and went everywhere. I believe all body washes should have the opening at the bottom of the bottle for easier access and managing.

mouthwash

This bottle has also given me a lot of trouble. The entire design is very bulky and boxy. The only thing working for it is the small indentations on either side that is meant for fingers. The only problem is the bottle is pretty big and my hand can't reach the other side. Overall, it's a heavy, unsteady liquid-filled bottle and the design does not consider the consumer, or at least not a feminine one.
I wanted to make a comparison between these two bottles. I feel like the green one is working a lot better. The top is more narrow than the bottom making it easier to grasp. The white bottle has given me a lot of trouble and I usually drop it. It is one solid thickness, unlike the other bottle that changes shape. It makes it very inconvenient to hold.

cup

This cup is one of my examples for an unergonomic item. The sides of the cup are straight causing the hand to make the proper adjustments to conform to the shape. There are also those interesting lines that provide texture and a nice design but does not help the ergonomics. The texture makes my fingers second guess where they should be placed.

Spatula, Brita filter, soap releasing dish scrub

This Spatula is simple and nice to hold. It has the spot for your thumb and thats it. No rubber or anything, but i find that my thumb goes right to its appointed spot on the spatula automatically.
This is a Brita filter. I hate the way its designed. Its bulky and hard to hold with just one hand when its full. Instead of it being a normal tall and skinny pitcher, this one is short and bulky. The handle is just plastic and gets slippery whenever i fill it.

I hate this thing. It hurts to hold it the way it is intended to be held- with ur palm on the top. My hand kept cramping up from holding it for too long. You cant use it in glasses or cups- I had a separate sponge for that, I mean seriously- come on. It almost felt more comfortable to hold it on its side, except that there was nothing to grip so my hand kept slipping.

shower

Here is the handle in my shower. It might be hard to tell from the angle of the picture, but this handle has some great curves working for it. It is thicker where it's connected to the wall and gets thinner where the hand is supposed to comfortably grip. You can also see the curve on the outer edge which works nicely with the placement of the hand when it's in use. It seems to fit naturally with the hand when it's in that position.

Objects.

This compass was just something I found
at home, stored away, that brought back
memories of frustration. After holding, and testing
it out, I remember why I hated using these in Math class.
I have found that they are difficult to grasp correctly, in
order to make a perfect circle.

This lock is one of the better examples I found. It forms to your fingers, which makes it comfortable and easy to use.

doorknob

This is a regular ol' doorknob in my house that I like. It's just a small sphere, but the circular shape was nice to hold. The sphere works so well because it's a consistent shape all the way around, and this specific one is the perfect size to fit in the palm of my hand. My grip was not strained or exaggerated in any way.

mousse bottles

I thought it would be interesting to compare the slight differences between my mousse bottle tops. After testing each one out for comfort, I realized my favorite one is the purple bottle on the right. You can see a small curve that cradles my finger quite nicely. The other two have straight surfaces, which never bothered me before but after having something else to compare it to, I definitely feel a difference.

Car Show 2010

After going to the car show it helped me to appreciate the execution of large scale designs, and all the work that goes into the making of a car.

I found it be enjoyable experience and walked away with two churros.

This Lexus impressed me the most
with the matte silver finish. The
Tail pipe was awesome, made it look
very powerful.

This Ford Set design very interesting
simple yet an elegant design to compliment
their cars.

Everyone was really into getting their
hands on this car.

This car looked very ideal for a
Californian middle-aged man looking
to take up surfing.

This car's form was a very intriguing find.
